Welcome to L. Houle's Ed Tools
Welcome
Welcome to L. Houle's Ed Tools. The focus of my website is on No Registration Web 2.0 tools or also called No Signup Web 2.0 tools and 20th Century research resources. Besides LHouleEdTools I maintain a presence on LiveBinders.com. My LiveBinders combine my website and tabs of resources so that you can interact with websites right within a binder. Click above on About LHoule then My Public Library of LiveBinders to find an embedded view of my LiveBinders. Each site was tested and whenever possible shared on my site example pages and in my individual presentation LiveBinders. As a curator of content for some 28 years, I verify all links regularly to keep resources current. (For my thoughts on the importance of keeping content current and how, click here.) The drop down menu above serves as my sitemap. If you have a comment or idea to share, click on my contact form link below. Why No Registration (No Signup) Web 2.0 Tools?
Students are asked to produce, publish, collaborate and evaluate with technology. Working with K-8 students, we’re concerned for privacy and anonymity particularly in this age of artificial intelligence. No registration tools require no usernames/passwords or email addresses and can be used anytime/anywhere in a web browser usually on any device. Tools are tested based before being listed and many test results are available on example pages. No one No Registration tool may be the right tool at the right time for a student, project or class. Explore for the right creativity, collaboration, conversion, multimedia, photo image, presentation or productivity tool for students to take ownership of their work. (Do note that being free brings with it so many ads of which many students must be taught to ignore.)
20th Century Decades Resources The list of 20th century resources began in 2000 for an 8th grade Language Arts project and that early start has grown into a resource for anyone interested in 20th century history. In the early days of the 21st century many individuals, teachers, grad assistants, and professors provided a marvelous selection of content. From that list a continuous list of new resources has been added. And thanks to the Web Archive, valuable sites that would have disappeared are still available. With the addition of a 20th Century Decades LiveBinder visitors can interact directly with websites all from one URL. Enjoy a walk through history! |
