Why No Registration Web 2.0 Tools?
We ask students to produce, publish, collaborate and evaluate with technology as an integral part of the learning process. When working with K-8 students, we’re concerned for their privacy and anonymity. Most Web 2.0 sites require registration or class accounts. Account set up takes time as does keeping track of student usernames/passwords. No registration tools require no usernames/passwords or email addresses and an be used anytime/anywhere in a web browser usually on any device. Tools are tested prior to listing based on a list of 6 criteria and many test results are available on example pages. There’s no need for apps, extensions or software. Any one no registration tool may be the right tool at the right time for a student, project or class. Come explore and find what might be the right creativity, collaboration, conversion, multimedia, photo image, presentation or productivity tool for students to take ownership of their work, excited and ready to share what they have accomplished.
